Pathetic and Frustrating

Spammers are some of the lowest forms of life. That is all there is to it. So it is no longer an annoying, spam magnet, I have removed the guestbook. I have enough things to do without having to constantly deal with deleting stupid, moronic spam crap from my site.

Angel Abode Accessories Updates

St. Patrick might have passed on by for this year, but this art piece (heavily referenced/inspired by a Britt Martin painting) makes a humorous statement all year long. The leprechaun appears on several t-shirts and other items in the Holiday/Occasions Shop, letting you know just where those lucky charms of yours are.

I am also planning to streamline the shops to make it easier to navigate through, and make it more manageable for me on the backend. I will get that done as soon as I get the extra time.

More Spammer Crap

Once again, spammers ruin interactive aspects of a web site. I have closed commenting in the Gallery section. It was meant for a way to interact with visitors of my site who wished to leave me some feedback on my art, but it is getting filled with useless spam crud. Some of the spam was hideously nasty, and personally offensive to me.

I was thinking about changing the gallery, but until I can get around to that, no more guest commenting there.

IE ActiveX Changes

Because of a patent dispute, Microsoft had to make changes that affect users of IE operating on Windows XP and Windows Server 2003.

Since the update patch was released, some users will have to click to view and/or interact with embedded active content such as Flash.

There have been a few different ways developers have come up with as workarounds for those affected by these changes. As for my sites, I have begun to implement one of the "IE Flash Fix" solutions that can be found on this site. I am hoping this will allow almost all of my visitors to avoid having to click first before interacting with any flash elements embedded throughout my sites.
